Technological Laboratories at the Service of the Territory

The event “Technological Laboratories at the Service of the Territory” was presented at the ITET “Girolamo Caruso” of Alcamo on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. The project aims to see the planning and the technical realization and on-site construction of innovative and high-tech laboratories with a high quality profile at the service of the territory.

It aspires to strengthening and retraining of technical-practical skills of students, adults, professionals, public or private employees, young people seeking a training path. The approach of the workshops geared toward the development of technical and practical skills will also enable training interventions for migrants. The strength of the workshops activated through this project lies in the methodological-didactic innovation that emphasizes the methodology of doing and knowing how to do. The skills, abilities and practicality of use will be the keystone on which the entire multipurpose digital territorial laboratory equipped with tools, commonly not within the reach of everyone, because of the high cost and of the complexity of use. For this reason, experts will be able to explain to interested parties the use of equipment, simply as examples, such as thermal imaging cameras, 3D laser scanners for large environments, the use of drones for environmental monitoring and control, energy analyzers, #3d printers.
